ABOUT ME

Ten years ago, I found myself in Tel Aviv, Israel, thinking, "Now how am I going to apply my UCSB bachelor's degree in Middle Eastern Studies to a passion for writing and producing multimedia content?"
Soon after, I discovered an ad online for a position writing breaking news content for the digital arm of The Jerusalem Post. Over the next several years, I produced textual, photographic, and video content for different Israeli outlets serving international audiences, bringing news about Israel and the Middle East to millions across the globe.
Ten years later, I am back in my hometown of San Diego, having pursued a master's degree in Business Administration from Rady School of Management, which specializes in entrepreneurship, finance, and business analytics.
I am looking for marketing opportunities across industries with preference for early-stage, sustainable, entrepreneurial or intrapreneurial projects, in line with my focus as a graduate student.

Utilizing his skills as a journalist, Elie has dived into consumer research, using interviews, surveys, and focus groups to empathically uncover what drives consumer decision-making and behavior, and then deploying statistical analysis to reveal trends and data-driven insights. He has also contributed knowledge, strategy, and research to new product road maps in the CPG, science and technology, agriculture, and media sectors.
